Hey Everyone!
Wow, this is a really fun day in Blogville! I'm joining in with my long time furiends, Shasta and Shiloh for their fairy tail day. Lots of you will be pawticipating too and I can't wait to read your stories.
Okay...here I go. ahem.
Once upon a time there lived in the land of the forest, a dog. He was of no pawticular breed, but was nonetheless most handsome. He spent many a day chasing small woodland creatures and lazing about in the shade of a tall oak tree. His life, it seemed, was most pleasant and happiness reined in his world...for all except the small creatures, that is. He was his own ruler of his own palace as it were.
Into his woodland one day, a dragon did wander. Now, this was no ordinary dragon, for it was a timid fellow and was prone to quiet meanderings and serene strolls about the countryside. Though it was certainly able, this dragon was never fond of general torchings or other mischief typical of its fellow peers. No, this was a peacable sort. Little did our amiable and be-scaled travelor know that he had traipsed into the territory of our handsome dog.
Oh, the mayhem that ensued! Our handsome dog quickly discovered the shy and passive tresspasser and immediately set to work evicting him from the territory. Our mild mannered dragon was startled by such a loud and feisty reception and was most surprised to find our handsome dog unwilling to listen to any version of reason. There arose in the forest such a clatter of barks and growls and even the occasional gnashing of teeth.
This was more than our sweet spirited and lovable dragon could bear. Unaccustomed to such hostility, he simply turned scaled tail and ran. As he scurried back to more familiar and welcoming territory, he was overheard to say "Dang that was one seriously bad ass mutt."
