Feeling Festive

Hey everyone!
Wow, this is such a wonderful time of year!    I'm so excited to pawticipate in Daisy's Christmas Cookie Recipe Exchange today.    Click on her name to see her blog and join in.    Here's a favorite holiday cookie from my house:

1 cup butter or margarine
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 egg
1 tablespoon vanilla
2 1/4 cups flour
1 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon corn starch
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon

Cream the butter and sugar together until smooth.  Add the egg and vanilla and stir.   Mix the dry items, then add to the cream.   Drop on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.

These are so tasty and soft and delish!   Most everyone likes cinnamon and it's a popular flavor at the holiday season, so I hope you enjoy these.   Thanks, Daisy, for hosting such a yummy event!

And now for the big Holiday Card Exchange Count:

So, my card wall of fame started out like this.

Then a few postal peep deliveries like this....

And now my wall of fame looks like this!    My total now :   FORTY-THREE!
Oh, yeah, my peeps have 9.   BWAR HAR HAR

Please link to all of the hosts to be sure you are pawticipating in all of the parts of the big day.  So far I only have 4 dancers and I know the comedy hour could use more acts.    If you have other ideas for making the party super spectacular, please let me know!

Ooooh yummy cookies. I want them NOW! I'm not the most patient pig though so I'll have to keep nudging to get them baked. That's quite a collection of cards! I can't wait for the dance. I'll do my best to dress up for my sweet girls, at least I promise to TRY but not sure I can get my hooves through the costume Mamma got me. I'll be there to dance with my girls either way!
