 Hello, Darlings!     We crabby girls are all agog because we had company at our crabitat this weekend!   Yes, we certainly did.   We shall give you a few hints as to the identities of our spectacular visitors...

Goodness, we had such a wonderful time together!   They are such chic and glamorous friends and we are always clacking our claws in glee when we get to rub elbows (all 18 of them -Teeheehee) with these two and their Hands.

Snicker Saturday...Called me WHAT?

Hey Everyone!
Wow, another Saturday is here and it's time for me to give you your weekly laugh!

So, the other night I was lounging around doing nothing in particular...certainly not bothering anyone.  When my Dad walks by and says to me "Hey, whatcha doin' there Festus?!?"

Now, my Mom just about peed herself laughing!   Then Dad nearly doubled over laughing.  Okay.   WHAT?!?   I've been called lots of colorful things... Butt Wipe being the most common and most embarrassing.  Until now.    Well, I had to grab my Mr Dell and check this Festus thing out and get a load of this, my furiends:

Oh, the horror!   My peeps were laughing like fools and I've been insulted.   HUMPFT
When my Dad could finally get his breath, he said "NO, I didn't say Festus, I said Sarge is the Bestest!"     Well, they laughed like fools all over again.   So, I guess he said bestest, but still sounds like the joke is on me this time.   *sigh*

Crabby Monday...B Ball

Hello, Darlings.   We crabby girls like to stay in shape and sometimes aerobics just isn't enough.  POL   Recently we decided to give our long and lovely leggies a serious workout.  Our gym got a makeover...sports style.  

OMC, we have our very own basketball arena !  

Complete with basket, court, bleachers and fans, and a bench.  

As, you can see, our long and lovely leggies have drawn a crowd.  Teeheehee

Now we're getting down to it...   Lots of action on the court as we really get the ball bouncing.  Shelldon makes a skip mid-court to grab the ball.

The fans go wild!      The cheering is almost deafening.   POL

 Now it's Beachnut's turn to dribble down the court.   Looks like she's headed for a lay-up.

Oceana and Shelldon take a time out and visit their bench.   

WHEW   This is excellent exercise!

So, our darling friends, we're going to get back to the court and see who wins this three-way game.

Wow, my rotten peeps turned on my the other day and gave me a bath!   Pttthththt to that.   I have no idea why I deserved such torture.   Well, it wasn't funny at all, I can bark you that.   However, the afterbath aftermath always gives my peeps a good chuckle.

WOW, YOU ARE ALL SUCH AMAZING FURIENDS!   I JUST HEARD A BARK FROM FRANKIE AND HIS EYE IS REALLY GOING TO BE OKAY.   YOUR POTP AND HEALING VIBES HAVE WORKED THEIR MAGIC.

THE PROBLEM IS RELATED TO HIS TEARS AND HIS IRIS.   I WILL LET HIM POST LATER WITH ALL OF THE DETAILS.   HE'S ON HIS WAY HOME.

International BOX Day

UPDATE on Frankie

Dear Ones, 

     Frankie's Infection is all clear...   His eye pressure is fine...    the mass has NOT changed since it was discovered on Wed. 11th..        THOSE are EXCELLENT things... but we are NOT out of the Woods yet.    

      We set up an appointment for   THURSDAY June 17th at 3:00 PM... at MED VET in Columbus

    He will be Seen by an ophthalmologist there....they may want to do some Other MINOR tests...  but mainly he will be having an ULTRASOUND.    THAT ONE will tell us a LOT about what course of action will be needed from that point. 

 

    Today we only saw Dr. Welsh...   We like him as much as Dr. Hustey.     

But when I

  called MedVet to make the appointment... and said Frankie was being referred there by Brandywine Hospital for Pets in Zanesville....  the Girl instantly said....  DR. WELSH?       She knows HIM from when he Worked at MedVet...  and she knows his BROTHER who Still works for MedVet.          THAT really boosted my confidence in  the place. 

      We will be taking a BLOG BREAK until at LEAST  Thursday EVENING...   I will be HONEST...   I am just not up to it right this moment...  I can't THINK of fun things...  BUT I WILL be READING ALL OF YOUR POSTS   and THOSE will bring us JOY.

Second Friday Post...Advice for DUI

Hey everyone!
Wow, today is so special all around Blogville!   Don't forget to click back to my See Beautiful post from this morning. 

Now, it's time to join Ranger and lots of you, my furiends, to give some helpful advice to our newest pal Dui from Scotsmad!    OMD he is adorable and he's joined such a wonderful pack.   Bella and Roxy will be such super sisters and SHE will be sure his life is filled with love and fun.

My advice for Dui today is to be sure to have lots of fun.  This is so very important for a pooch.   Now, my suggestion for the bestest way to have the mostest fun is to HIT THE WATER!!

You have a river right there in your territory, just like I have here in mine.  Isn't that great?!?  
So, here's my advice on how to do it:

Grab a stick and paddle those paws!

Splash and swim!

And someday when you get a little older, don't be afraid to find a super fun gal to enjoy the water with...like sweet Greta!    Meanwhile, you have your pack to have fun with.

First Friday Post... See Beautiful

Hey everyone!
Wow, there's so much going on in Blogville today that I'm doing TWO POSTS IN ONE DAY!  
*whew*     BOL      First, I gotta join in with Sugar and lots of you to celebrate the anniversary of See Beautiful.     Then my second post joins Ranger and lots of you and with Advice for Dui, our newest Blogville little-guy furiend from Scotsmad.  


Okay, I love the See Beautiful series!   It's so very important for all of us to remember the gorgeous things in our world and take time to really appreciate them.   I love how everyone shares such beautiful thoughts and pix.    I have two things to See Beautiful in today. 

First are the flowers that come with Spring in my territory!  Second is the Portrait of Me that hangs in our Dining Room!

EMERGENCY FOR FRANKIE !!

OMD FURIENDS...  OUR FRANKIE NEEDS OUR URGENT POTP and HEALING VIBES RIGHT AWAY! 

Frankie had an icky spot on his eye show up last night.   It only looked maybe scratched or infected.  He is at the vet right now and the dogtor says it looks like it is a mass of some sort so he is having an ultrasound.    We'll let you know what we find out.    Please send him your POTP right away

Now, on with our fabulous news!   We are totally agog about the latest addition to our trendy crabitat.

IT'S A SPARKLY NEW COMPUTER!    

Isn't that marvelous?    We are so very thrilled.   We especially like the color.   A very tasteful and feminine carnation pink.   

 We also continue to update the decor in our crabitat with new wallpaper throughout.   The new computer is installed in our mermaid room.   Just lovely!

We girls totally approve and we couldn't wait to let our long and lovely leggies start tapping away!   Teeheehee.    Now, this photograph was taken before Beachnut (middle) changed into her new and gorgeous white shell.

Dino Dig Day

Hey Everyone!
Wow, the big Dino Dig Fest is here!   WOOOHOOOOO!   Any reason to dig is a super thing and I know lots and lots of us will be pawticipating in this today.

Well, I love to dig, so awwwaaaaayyyy I went!

Okay, I think I'll start right here in this nice sandy spot.   Ought to be something cool buried here!   Wonder what I'll find...

Oh, perfect!   I dug up an old bone!   Now, it's pretty old, but I have no clue if it's a dino bone or not.   Either way it's really tasty.  BOL       And, there's something else here!    I grabbed my archaeological kit (ahem) and went to work with the soft brush...

Well, this is cool!    It's like an old Egyptian mummy or something.   Maybe Cleopatra or Tut live in there... okay, well, little tiny miniature versions of them.  BWAR HAR HAR

Yup, this digging spot had a (possible) dino bone and a mummy.   Cool!



That was so much fun I decided to dig some more!   I went to my favorite tree and started to work.

Smells like something fascinating is right under my paws...

 Holy Moley!!!   OMD it's a can of my fav kibble!     

Now, I never really thought this tasted like dinosaur before, but maybe it does.  BOL
OMD this was such a fun event.    I can't wait to see what all of you, my digging fanatical furiends, came up with.


AND AND AND AND AND:  The Crabby Girls wanted to join in too!

Beachnut here:   Well, my dears, I felt it was time for a total make-over, so in honor of Blogville Dig Day I am stepping out in a new shell!   Here I am showing off my new, light colored, gorgeous new shell.   It's lovely and perfect for Spring in the crabitat.   

And I believe, just up ahead I've found a dino!   POL   A pterodactyl, I believe.   



 Oceana here:  Goodness, I believe that I have dug up a magnificent specimen!

 Just a little more of this sand needs to be excavated...

Oh, yes, how marvelous!   I've found a stunning stegosaurus.    Maybe I'll drag it over here by the pool for safe keeping.   OMC this was a wonderful adventure!

We girls really had fun digging for dinos and we'll be checking around to see what all of you excavation experts dug up.   POL
