Crabby Monday...Cattle STAMPede

Hello, Blogville Darlings!
Goodness, we crabby girls, Beachnut & Shelldon are all agog about our fabulous upcoming Blogville Rodeo!    We do so love an extravaganza and this will be spectacular fun.  Teeheehee     Our very own Sarge is hosting part of the event and we wouldn't want you to miss out.   Here are his details:

Cattle  STAMPede
For the upcoming Blogville Rodeo on July 9th Sarge is hosting a Cattle STAMPede.    Now, here in Blogville we won’t allow red hot, burning, painful branding of our cattle.  NOPE!    Instead, we’re STAMPING our cows.  BOL    He will arrange for your very own cow to be ink stamped with your very own customized brand.     You can design it yourself and send it to us.   Or you can send a description of your design request to us and he'll work it up for you.    Either way works, so send your brand request to us using   lfurman1987ATyahooDOTcom by July 1st and Sarge will work his magic.

He already fixed us up with the most glorious of cattle stamperings!    Just look at what he created for us:

Oh, we girls have our very own brand for our ranch!

That's the most adorable cow and calf and we are clacking our claws with glee!    Our stampering worked wonders and they are simply gorgeous.   POL

So, if you'd like your own cattle STAMPede, here are some guidelines and thoughts on creating your own spectacular brand:

Terms used are:
  • "Crazy": An upside down symbol. An upside down R would be read as "Crazy R".
  • "Reverse": A reversed symbol. reverse Kwould be read as "Reverse K". Reverse is sometimes called "Back" (i.e. a backwards C would be read as "Back C").
  • "Lazy": Symbols turned 90 degrees. Also, a symbol turned 90 degrees, lying on its face (or right hand side) can be read as "Lazy Down" or "Lazy Right" .
  • "Flying": a symbol that starts and ends with a short serif or short horizontal line attached before the left side of the top of the symbol and attached to the right side of the symbol, extending to the right of the symbol.
  • "Walking": a symbol with a short horizontal line attached to the bottom of the symbol, extending to the right of the symbol.
  • “Running”: a letter with a curving flare attached to the right side of the top of the letter, extending to the right, with the symbol sometimes also leaning to the right like an italic
  • "Over": a symbol over above another symbol, but not touching the other symbol. An H above a P would be read as "H Over P".
  • "Bar": a short horizontal line. For example, a short horizontal line over an M or before an M would be read as "Bar M".
  • "Box": a symbol within a square or rectangle or a square or rectangle by itself. A box with a P inside of it would be read as "Box P".
  • "Diamond": a symbol within a four sided box, the box tilted 45 degrees or a four sided box tilted 45 degrees by itself.
  • "Circle": a symbol within a circle, or a circle by itself. A circle with a C inside of it would be read as "Circle C".
  • "Hanging": a symbol beneath another symbol and touching the other symbol. Read as " H Hanging P", or just "H P".
  • "Swinging": a symbol beneath a quarter circle, the open side of the quarter circle facing the symbol, with the symbol touching the quarter circle. For example, a H with a quarter circle over it, with the top of the H touching the quarter circle would be read as "Swinging H".
  • "Rocking": a symbol above a quarter circle, the open side of the quarter circle facing the symbol, with the bottom of the symbol touching the quarter circle. For example, a H with a quarter circle under it, is read as "Rocking H".

We will be looking forward to seeing all of your lovely and stylish STAMPede creations, Darlings!   So far, Sarge has 10 exclusive designs ready for the rodeo.

Happy Crabby Monday to all of our divine friends.
Ciao and Little Pinches,
Beachnut and Shelldon

Is it possible to create a cupcake brand with sprinkles? That's what I think Shiver and Chico would like.

Thank your Mom for affixing my design to my cows. It looks wonderful. We will be away from home in late June visiting Grandpa but we will be back well in time for all the rodeo fun.
