Mini US Lympics...Mens Freestyle Skating

Wow, the Mini US Lympics are going full-steam!   Please be sure to stop by all of our furiends who are pawticipating and give them your support.

Well, the other day MiniSarge took the Silver Medal in the Luge event and the word was that he'd be re-inventing himself today for the men's freestyle skating event.   Let's check it out:





Welcome back to the 2014 games.   These events were created by Frankie and Ernie and are dedicated to Bridget.   Let's get back to the action.

Here we are at the ice rink for the men's freestyle skating event and next up is MiniSarge.   He burned up the Luge course on Mount Subaru the other day taking home the Silver, and now he's here to try his skills at skating.   He's like a whole other athlete as he takes to the ice.

 Nice execution of those difficult footwork moves.   That's so important for the judges in their scoring.

Here he's showing good balance and control as he moves around the rink.

Oh, perfect landing from that triple axle!  

He's definitely in the best condition of his career and he's making the most of his skills.

 Very controlled spinning and that will help his scores in this routine.

He's worked hard on his artistry and it shows for him today.   What a nice, strong finish for MiniSarge as he concludes his freestyle program.

The crowd is showing its appreciation and MiniSarge is grateful for their support.   Hopefully, this will be a medal-winning performance for the USA.
