My New Experiment

Hey Everyone!
Wow, I hope you are all having a really super fun Howloween! 
I've decided to try a grand new experiment.  Know how I'm always trying to get the bark out about some new exciting event going on in busy Blogville?   Well, I was thinking (scary!) that one blog would be nice to track our events.  SOOOOO, introducing Blogville Community Calendar.   You can click on it to check it out.  I may be trashcanning this if it isn't easy to keep up with (Mom made me promise!) and if it isn't easy for all of you, my blogville furiends to use and find helpful. 

Anyway, there you go.

I'd be really glad for some honest feedback on this if you're willing to help me try this out.  Feel free to be brutal and make any suggestions!!

My Most Pawesome Pressie EVER

Wow, take a look at what Mamaw got for me!!

Remember back when Doxies with Moxie's mom What's Her Name made a tapestry for Frankie?!?  (See his 10-13-11 post) Well, I was totally green with jelliness over that because it was so perfect!  Mamaw commissioned WHN to make one for me!   HERE IT IS!     It's totally amazing right down to the COP border, my spotted tongue and my COP bandana.   Perfect Perfect Perfect

GIVE US THE BIRD!
Nov 21 thru 25, 2011

Since it’s coming up to Thanksgiving season here in the USA, I thought we could all celebrate and have some fun --Blogville Style!    Everyone thinks of turkey when they think of our holiday, so here’s a chance to let your blog go fowl.  During this week, I’m inviting all of my furiends to Give Us The Bird…not that kind of bird, but the feathered kind!  BOL 
The rules are amazingly simple.  Just post a bird pix on your own blog during the event week. 
Any bird pix will do. 

v  Real, live birds from your territory, house, yard, park, trails, neighborhood, feeder, garden.
v  Foodables, turkey drumsticks, chicken nuggets, hot wings, chicken kibbles, duck tenders.
v  Paintings or sculptures of birds, any bird crafts, any artsy birds.
v  Bird toys from your stash, stuffie ducks, unstuffy birds, squeaky bird shaped toys.
v  Pix of birds from the internet, cartoons, television, movies, books.

You can post just one pix on one day, or multiple pix on multiple days during the event.  Your choice.  Then leave me a comment so I know you pawticipated.  On Sunday, Nov 27^th I’ll take each name from the comments and a winner will be drawn at random.  The winner has their choice of prizes.  Either a collar from Clara’s Collars or a $20 pack of foodables selected especially for the winner.   

So, there it is!  I hope you all will enjoy this.  Get those bird brains working!!

The Grape North East

Hey Everyone!

Wow, I almost forgot to tell all of you about this pawesome adventure my peeps had.  Unfortunately, it was done WOS (with out Sarge...ahem).  See, Frankie's mom, my Mamaw, likes to can yummy things.  She showed Mom and Dad how to easily can grape juice.  WELL, NOW...we all know that pooches cannot partake of such fruit, but my peeps really love it.  Luckily for us we live really close to some of the bestest Concord Grapes ever.  So, my peeps took off for North East (that's really the name of the city) several weeks ago when the grapes were perfect.  Up in the grape North East (get it?!?) they picked pawesome looking grapes.  They said they taste wonderful.  Then they got busy and made their grape juice.   (I was supervising.)

They had all these left over...for PIE!

Mom made two grape pies and a turnover from those leftover grapes and froze enough for three more.  That square dish is a peach cobbler she made from the peaches at that farm!  Now THAT was Sarge-approved so I got some and it was TOTALLY YUMMY!   Made up for all those grape things I couldn't have.  BOL  Anyway, there you go.  One peep adventure, and a peach adventure for me.

Wow, it's time again for another chuckle to kick off your weekend!  Last week my Mom was travelling for her work and she stopped at a Dairy Queen for lunch.  (Tough job, right?!? BOL).  So, she orders a hot dog because she's a big kid at heart and when they give her the food, here's what she saw:

Wow, it's time for the fourth and final edition of my fashion show!  Welcome to day four...no new collar this time.  I've been such a hard working Chief of Police that my official COP bandana is fading!  The horror!    So, I sweet talked my mom into a new one from the craft show last weekend.  Take a look:

My New Duds...part one

Wow, I had the most pawesome weekend!  Mamaw and Papaw Pantslegs were here with Hizzhonor the Mayor Frankie.  We had a blast together.  Well, the peeps all went to three days worth of craft shows and they did okay, but Frankie and I really, really cleaned up!!   BOL   We've got those peeps right where we want them.  They each got one or two things...but WE GOT A BUNCH!  That's right.  So, I now present four days worth of my new duds.  Courtesy of CLARA'S COLLARS.

Thanks for a Pawesome Safety Week

Hey Everyone!
Wow, I can't believe how great Safety Week was!  Well, actually I can believe it!  I mean with these pawesome pawticipants we just couldn't miss!   I wanted to personally thank all of our Blogville Professionals for putting on such an amazing event.  I had so much fun and learned so much from all of you. 

Deputy Bert gave us a ton of important search & rescue info every day!  Amazing stuff!!

Clerk Mona did a wonderful post on poisonous plants & did lots to get the bark out for us!!

Road Dogs set up the most pawesome transport for us!  Tons of choices for fun rides!!

Chief Investigator Pip provided a whole bunch of identity theft info for us!   Great post Chief!!

Fire Chief Bucky arranged for fabulous equipment and hosted our totally cool PARADE!!

Nurse Maggie Mae posted first aid kit AND food safety information for everyone!  Thanks!!

Deputy Zona helped us and our mini two-leggers stay safe during trick-or-treat time!  Woohoo!
