Hello, Blogville Darlings!
Goodness, we have been out of the limelight for far too long. We were nearly considering giving The Hands such a pinch, when they wisely decided to bring us back to Blogville. POL
We ladies were so very devastated to lose our beloved Sarge back in February. We miss him terribly and went into a proper state of mourning after his passing.
We stayed buried while we healed our hearts.
I, Beachnut took the corner with two windows.
I, Shelldon took a nearby spot with one window.
Finally, we felt it best to carry on and Sarge would have whispered to us that we shouldn't miss out on life. He wouldn't want that. So, we re-joined the world.
Hello, world!
We are so super excited to have found our spectacular Scooter in our house when we came back top-side! Oh, he's a very dapper dog and we adore him completely. He seems properly impressed and fascinated by us! Tee hee hee. Why not...we're worthy of fascination! POL
Anyway, here we are, back in Blogville and clacking our claws with glee to see all of you again.
What have you all been up to!\? We want all of the details and gossip.
Little Pinches,
Beachnut and Shelldon

oh that was good that you took the time to heal your broken hearts... and what a wonderful surprise to see Scooter ...
Oh dahlings, it is so good to see you back. We all mourned Sarge terribly, but are sure he would have wanted you to keep on blogging. Well what's been happening my end? We lost my dear Human Granny in March, and so I have been doing my best to keep Gail from being too sad about that. Fortunately we had the sunniest ever summer in Scotland, which helped enormously, although I am still not a convert to swimming.
Well I am so looking forward to hearing how you are getting along and how Scooter is fitting in.
Any news of Frankie and Ernie?
Toodle pip!
Bertie.
We are very glad you are back too. We understand the mourning time. There's been too much of that in Mom's life, losing her stepmom of 30 years, her brother and Barkley all about the same time. It's time for some smiles again.

Aw, it is so sad about Sarge, but you can begin to heal by learning to love again. That is the amazing thing about love---there is always more and it's mere presence makes us whole again!
What is the deal with the sand?? Do you hibernate in there??
It's so wonderful to have you back! We haven't met, but I heard ALL about how fabulous and beautiful and fashionable you girls are. I'm Matilda, and I live in Casey and Jessie's old house. I hope we can be friends!
It's good to have you ladies back in Blogville. We can't wait to hear how The Hands have dressed up your home. There isn't much exciting to report from us. Life has been going on as usual here.
It's great to see you ladies again! We missed you!

It's just so good to see you guys again. Because of Mom, we've all been kind of MIA too. SHE went back to work. What's up with that??? She should be home with us. AND she's working about 6 days a week so she's never around to help with my typing anymore. On the 7th day she does the housecleaning, laundry, grocery shopping and all the other junky jobs. Guess she doesn't trust Dad to do any of her home jobs. Butt...that's OK because now he has more time to play with us. I have a new sister named Lexi. She is a Yorkie-Cairn Terrier mix. I just call her a mixed TERROR. She was found in Tampa with a broken jaw and was scheduled to be sent to the Bridge when the rescue group picked her up. They brought her to FT. Myers Beach for foster care and that's where Mom and Dad saw her for the first time. Guess it was love at first sight. Her picture made it to my blog a couple posts back. Anyway, my paws are getting tired so this is all the news I have. Hugs to everyone!

Great to see you back. We will always remember Sarge. My family has been traveling so I got left with the dog sitter.

Hi Crabby Girls! Good to see you again....we know it's sometimes easiest to just cover up and be sad for a while when we have a loss in our lives but coming back to the surface brings some FUN - you have Scooter to keep you occupied now! I'm sure Sarge has whispered in Scooter's ear how to protect you girls and entertain you too......
Hugs, Teddy
