Okay, I'm celebrating MUTT DAY today because I'm a MUTT!   That's right...100%...Grade A...All American MUTT...straight from the local shelter.   



Today is MUTT Day and I really must say,
that's a great excuse to celebrate in every possible way.

I had no way to gauge if adopting was the rage,
Such a wee pup in a shelter waiting in that small cage.

In came these people and I started to wiggle,
Maybe it's a good sign that I made them both giggle.

That was the first time I ever did climb,
The arms of that peep were like a welcoming chime.

I scooted like heck up his arms to his neck,
I wanted them to keep me- I was a nervous wreck.

It was meant to be and they adopted me,
And it's been nine years now as a perfect family.

So no matter what I am one proud MUTT,
Peeps should follow their gut and take a mutt to their hut.

Working Wednesday...On Patrol

Wow, sometimes I gotta do some work on the streets to keep my law enforcement skills are sharpened up and ready!      Most of my Commissioner duties are done in my office and the other day I decided I needed a DAY OUT in the community of Blogville.

Crabby Monday...Beachnut Has A Window

Hello, Blogville Darlings!   Beachnut here with you today.   

I was feeling a tad restless yesterday as I lounged in our chic hidey hut.

I suddenly felt the need to excavate a spectacular excavation!   Teeheehee

Oh, yes this is the most fabulous location for a supreme digging adventure.

My long and lovely leggies worked like mad to tunnel out the perfect, trendy spot for a little time away from the rest of the crabitat.    As you can see I installed a window for watching the rest of Sarge's world.   POL

Well, a girl must have her privacy and after an hour or so, The Hands discovered that the window once open, is now closed.    I am pondering how long it will take Shelldon to discovered that I've buried.   Teeheehee

Christmas in July with Samantha

Hey Everyone!
Wow, this is my second post in a row where I've gotten amazing pressies!   Today, I'm going to show you the incredible giftie package I received from Samantha.

Our furiend Sprinkles is hosting her annual Christmas In July Swap event!   I love this so much and I always join in every year.   She pairs you up with a swap buddy and you trade pressies.  Isn't that fun?!?    Well, I was so lucky to get partnered up with Samantha. 

Check out the outstanding goodies she sent to me!

OMD what's in there?!?

Oh, lookie it's all wrapped up for Christmas in July!  That's so fun and my Mom's thrilled with that blue notepad.   

This is perfect!   A new duckie stuffie.  

Forget it, Mom, it's mine!  BWAR HAR HAR    She wanted to play with my cool new toy.

This cool thingie gets filled up with treats and bounces around like crazy till the yummers fall out.

I love dental treats and this one smells super!    OMD Samantha is a super shopper!

Now, I've never seen these great treats before.   Barkery Snackwiches and they are delish.  

Hey, what's this?      Um....I can't get this paper off fast enough...

I had to take it to my cot for the right angle on this one....

HOLY COW AND SCORE!!!    Check this out!   I've never seen this before either.   It's a gator toy and a water bottle goes inside.   I've had those before and they crinkle, but this one is SUPREME!   See that purple/pink topper on the bottle?    IT SQUEAKS!    Yup, this is a crinkle bottle toy that also squeaks.   When the bottle wears out, your peep puts the purple/pink topper on a fresh empty water bottle and it crinkles and squeaks all over again.   TOTALLY AMAZING!   I love it.

So, furiends I am one incredibly lucky pooch!   Look at all of this loot.  I even got two yummer servings of Caesar dinners.     OMD/OMC Samantha is the bestest kitty shopper on the planet!   I can't believe the fun and unique goodies she sent me.

Foodable on Friday from Oz

Hey everyone!
Wow, I'm so very lucky because I got a special delivery the other day!    The postal peep packages are almost always for me.  BOL

This one is super cool because it's from our buddy OZ!   Remember back when he had a Bravo for Special Moments event?   Well, I posted about going on a canoe trip with my peeps and I was one of the winners of a sample from Bravo.

Let me at it!!

 

Holy cow, furiends, there are TWO pressies in here!

This first one is a sample of venison liver jerky.

I can promise you that these are delish!   

My Dad sometimes goes kablammmo with his gun

 and we have wild deer meat for our freezer, 

but he never gives me venison liver jerky.  This is very, very tasty.   

Nice and crunchy so it's fun to eat, good for my dentals and totally delish.

The second sample is Bravo's dehydrated pork dinner.  
Add water and let it do it's thing.  
My silly Dad calls this "Blow Up Food".  
BWAR HAR HAR    Get it...it puffs up!   ahem.

Here I am barking a big "hurry up" to my Mom.

Look at all of the good yummers in there.  Raw meat, no hormones or chemicals,
grain free, has  veggies and fruit pieces.    
Very healthy fur sure and a product of the U.S.A.   PERFECT!
  

 

And I'll let you see for yourselves how good it is!

Crabby Monday...Shelldon Shell Shops

Hello, Blogville Darlings!
Shelldon with you today to discuss my most recent shopping extravaganza!  Teeheehee

OMC(lawd) I had so many stellar ensembles to choose from.  What's a fashionable girl to do?!?  Well, I tried them all, of course.   POL

 Here I am in my medium brown shell...I decided to give this lighter colored shell  some consideration.    Goodness, what a lovely color and it compliments my eyes perfectly.

So, here I am modeling the new lighter shell.    Oh, I must say that it is divine.   The shade is the new "it" color for this Summer and is definitely most stylish.  



In the end, the color was to-die-for, however it did nothing for my feminine figure and really did not accentuate my long and lovely leggies.    On to another option.     The Hands have the most glamorous boutique!   Teeheehee

 Oh, this dark shell has me clacking my claws with glee!    A lady always looks her best in a dark navy or black outfit and this is a lovely fashion statement.     You can see that I am studying it closely and eyeing it very carefully.

Hmmm, this dark shell certainly shows off my long and lovely leggies!   I'm just not certain this is the shade for me this season.    Finding the perfect statement of design and chic style is a most difficult task.   Goodness, I'm just not certain....what to wear...what to wear....what to wear...

Well, friends, after discussing the latest fashions with Beachnut, I passed on both new shells!   P(inch)OL      I concluded my shopping spree and changed back to my original and perfectly form-fitting neutral shell.    A girl must always look her very best.
