GRADUATION CEREMONY

*ahem*    *er...um...testing...123 ...okay.**

"Welcome to the Blogville Police Academy
2015 Graduation Ceremony!
I am Commissioner Sarge and it's my honor to be here as we celebrate the completion of your training and your appointment as Blogville Police Department Officials."

"Each of you worked very hard and showed true dedication to your studies and your training.   Your reward is to join an honorable department and begin an honorable career in law enforcement."

"And now, it is my pleasure to introduce today's guest speaker.   His lifetime commitment to police work is legendary and he will certainly inspire us today.   Please welcome, McGruff!"

"Recruits, I can tell you from personal experience that this is the most rewarding profession a pooch can have.   I began my career in July of 1980 and have never looked back.  My work with schools and children has spread the word about fighting crime and being good citizens."

"So, as you hit the streets and do your duty, remember to always perform to your best abilities.  Be fair and just.   Be firm.   Never forget your mission to protect and serve.   Congratulations to you all.
And as always, TAKE A BITE OUT OF CRIME!
Thank you"

"Thank you, McGruff, for your words of wisdom."
"And now, the band will play a few patriotic marches as we continue our celebration."

"Thank you so much for that exciting music."

"Now that your training is complete, you are ready to join the Blogville Police Department.   I am joined by Top Cop Bites, Deputy Top Cop Ranger, and Training Officer Sully as we present your certificates.

Please come forward when I call your names and accept your shield."

" I now present your official Class Plaque.   This will be proudly displayed in the BPD station to honor the Class of 2015."

"And now, you are no longer RECRUITS!"
"CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU ALL!"
"Please join me as we move outside where the skies will fill with planes to honor your accomplishment.   Feel free to celebrate with the traditional hat toss!"

"As a special surprise bonus, I pawsonally have handled all of the recent damage to our fleet of SegWays.   The costs have been covered out of the department slush fund.   I would have used the donut fund, but it's been devastated and thoroughly drained by the munching this week.   BOL   Ahem.   Anyway, no one need worry about paycheck docks to cover the repairs.   My little gift to all of you for a job well done."
"Be sure to proceed to the party where Ruby will provide refreshments.   Thank you."

Grr and and Official Woof,
Sarge, Police Commissioner
