Inauguration Day 2015

Hey Everyone!
Wow, the big day is finally here!    Your Blogville Police Department has been hard at work for several days to ensure safety and security for everyone during our festivities.   The other day, Top Cop Chief Bites and I posted about our security sweep of Blogville in preparation for Inauguration Day.

This morning, we are all hard at work again as the time approaches for the official swearing in of Co-Mayorz Murphy and Stanley.    Officer Sully is coordinating all field operations and is also manning Blogville Chopper 1 over the parade route.   Top Cop Bites is on the ceremony platform working the radios for constant communication and coordination.   Officer Abby is on ground patrol duty and is being assisted by Junior Officers Riley and Whitley as they all ensure crowd control.

I will be driving the Blogville Police Department Truck ahead of Officer Gussie as he escorts the dignitaries in the limousine.

After that I'll head straight to the Inauguration Platform Stage for the official Swearing In Ceremony as performed by our current Mayoress Madi.    Then our new Co-Mayorz Murphy and Stanley will officially take office.

Be sure to attend the Choir Performance too as they have worked hard to provide a nice touch to the event.   Director Susie and the singers are so very talented.

Oz 's  Blog Hop is set up to help everyone travel around to the various events.  Definitely stop by and join so that you don't miss any of the excitement!

Then this evening we will all head over to Dory's Pajama Party!   After a busy day, we will be ready to unwind, have some fun together, and get some much-needed rest.

Tomorrow I will be hosting Madi's BOX BASH as we celebrate the end of her term as Mayoress and thank her for her service.   Be sure to stop by all day long as I have 5 posts spread throughout the day for the Bash.

Enjoy the festivities today!
Thank you to all of the Police Department staff for their work & dedication!
Thank you, Mayoress Madi!
Congratulations Co-Mayorz Murphy and Stanley!

Grr and an Official Woof,
Sarge, Police Commissioner
