Need Some LUCK
Hello, Blogville! Sarge's Mom here for a change. Now, the reason a little luck and crossed paws are needed today is because Sarge is headed to the dogtor this morning.
Just to be sure there is no confusion, Sarge doesn't need the luck. NOPE
The dogtor and his staff all need some luck and crossed paws. FUR SURE
Sarge's Dad could use a little luck and crossed paws too. DEFINITELY
WHY??? Because Sarge tries to bash everyone! BOL ahem.
Yes, he's a wild man and a holy terror at the vet's office. Let's all cross paws, fingers, toes, feet, eyes, whatever and send a little luck to the dogtor, his staff and my hubby in hopes that Sarge doesn't embarrass us too badly or put a bash on anyone. SHESH We gave him some "happy pills" this morning to try to help this along. He's getting the full once-over today. Shots, tests, teeth, nails, the whole nine yards. We already told the dogtor's staff "BRACE YOURSELVES!"
Maybe it will be fine and Sarge will be sweet and wonderful....that's the triumph of hope over experience, my furiends. BOL
Hugs,
Lori
OMD... Poor SARGE... he does HATE the Dogtor visits. We hope that everybuddy comes through the day...with all their pieces and pawts. BaaaaWaaaah.
ReplyDeleteWE wish we could be there... just so we could watch Sarge's DAD..hehehehehe
HOPE the HAPPY PILLS make you MELLO Sarge. WE would like to SEE THAT!!! BaaaaWaaaah.
ReplyDeleteRemember... Don't stand up... you know what they do to you when you stand up. Just SAYIN... OH YES... and don't open your mouth... they might Steal your teefs...
I cross my paws for all of you. I hope Sarge will get only good news and the Vet and the Dad and all people around will still have all their fingers complete tonight :o)
ReplyDeleteSarge's dogtor must be one of my dogtor "collie'gs" (colleagues). Be sure Sarge eats plenty of treats when he comes home from the dogtor's appointment.

Oh Sarge, we so understand. Hailey use to be that way. The first time I took her to get blood taken they couldn't take it because she was screaming and thrashing around too much! We hope you get over your trauma soon!
ReplyDeleteOh Sarge! You are going to wind up with one of those silence of the lambs masks on your head.
ReplyDeleteLily & Edward
Oh Sargy we hope that Dad doesn't blow a gasket at the frankenvet's and that you have a good checkup. Its just hard sometimes isn't it, well just pee all over them..thats what I always say....at the last resort just pee....

Good luck Lori we have our fingers and paws tightly crossed it all goes OK. Sarge take a chill pill and go with the flow and it will be allover soon enough. Do let us know how it went. Thinking of you.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
A good long walk before the vets also helps :) At least they will remember who Sarge is :)
ReplyDeleteSure hope the happy pills do their job and that Sarge is super happy when he arrives.
ReplyDeleteGood luck everyone!
Hugs,
Lily Belle & Muffin
Sarge buddy sending you loving kitty kisses and calming thoughts.
ReplyDeleteWe hope everyone comes out of this exam smiling and happy and no more repeats are needed for a year.
Some people and pups get have 'white coat' syndrome.
Keep us posted
Hugs madi and mom
Ut oh . . . does he have the routines? You'd think being Commissioner and all that he would understand the impawtence of being calm under this stressful situation. Butt, you know how cops are, it's their way or the highway! Be calm Sarge!!
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Murphy & Stanley
Oh Sarge! sending good luck to everyone! You know I am better now but I was a holy terror too when I was little (well I still can be sometimes HA HA). Mom and Dad could not hold me to trim my sharp puppy nails (really a 10lb pug stronger than her peeps!). When mom took me in to have my girly parts removed the vet lady tried to make me hold still to check me over and I put a gash in the palm of her hand!! Mom was so embarrased, but the vet was totally cool about it. She kept picking me up and holding me tight till I settled down then put me down and pick me up again till I finally behaved. Course thats easier with a little pug like me than a big strapping dog like you. BOL!

OMD Sarge, I totally understand, I am the same way at the Vet Lady. Mommy gives me happy pills and she has to call ahead for certain staff members to be there. I will cross paws for you Sarge and rest when you get home.
ReplyDeleteLove Sasha
All paws crossed for a good day for Sarge and the staff. Too bad you can't find a vet who would be willing to come for a house call.

ReplyDeleteWe are a day late but we hope everything went well. We had a vet visit this week too and we had a great time. I, Walter, especially love having the vet ladies and the techs love on me and never felt the pokes and prods.
ReplyDeleteWow, this is for a "routine exam"??? Some vets will do house calls, would that help? This is a huge amount of stress for everyone. Sorry Lori and Stan but yeah Sarge. We're with you and glad that you have a strong heart and are our kind of "doggie" (a good all around puppy with an attitude).
ReplyDeleteOh dear, hope he's a good boy for you!
