Mini US-Lympics... The Luge Event

Hey everyone!
Wow, have you seen the cool posts around Blogville lately?   Frankie and Ernie had the super idea for us to have a Mini US-Lympics with all of our mini's.  The official games are dedicated to Bridget.

Here comes the next event... The Luge!





We join the action already in progress at the beautiful Luge Track here on Mount Subaru.   Next up is the American hopeful, MiniSarge.   He's trained hard and is eager to make his run.

As you folks at home can see, it's snowing here on Mount Ru as it is affectionately called by these competitors. 



MiniSarge is set and ready for his run.     And here he goes....

Excellent form here as he hits one of the tougher sections of this track.

Making great time and it looks like he's really burning up the course here.

Amazing speed from MiniSarge...but will it be enough?   There's a talented group of well-trained athletes for this event and time will tell.

And MiniSarge takes the Silver for the USA!    He'll join the others on the podium and celebrate his win.  

Now we have it on good authority that later this week (not Friday!), MiniSarge will be in another event here at the games!   He's planning to totally re-invent himself for the men's freestyle skating event and we'll be looking forward to that.
