Fixer Upper Friday

Hey Everyone!
Wow, thanks for all the well-wishes for my poor stuck eye!  It's much better now, and not only did I get all those extra treats and scritches, I suckered Mom out of a new bone with lots of stuff on and in it.  DELISH.

BTW:  Frankie & Ernie are still having horrible internet troubles, so they're on a break until after Thanksgiving.  Please don't forget them and I can tell you that they are missing all of you, their bestest furiends lots and lots.

So, on to the fixer upper part... I have this great toy...my Teddy.  See, he's a teddy bear just for me.  I've been having a blast with him...right up until there was this unfortunate accident.  He sorta blew his stuffing!  BOL  Musta sprained his little ankle and I went straight for the stuffyguts.

Luckily, Mom took pity on my unfluffed friend and broke out the stitcher box.

Okay, time to inspect her work.
Hmmmm...not bad...nice even stitches...might not even leave a scar.

Yup, he's almost as good as new.   What's one less limb among friends.

Grr and Woof,
Sarge, Unstuffing Specialist

  3. Hi Sarge!
Wesa cannot remembers if we commented or not, but wesa so glad your eye is feelin' better as wesa all was worried. See, in our house, a poke like that means no eyeball since we puggers have protruding eyes. ((Shudder)) The thought of it has our eyeballs waterin' and mama's, too.

  4. Oh Sarge, we are so thankful to hear that your eyeball is feeling much better today. When we saw that stitcher box we were worried Mom was gonna sew your eye closed. Good thing it was only out so she could repair your favorite wubbie. Whew, what a relief.

We feel so bad for Frankie and Ernie and their internet problems. We suggested that they call the Big Guns of the company.

    Hugs,
    Lily Belle & Muffin

  9. Hi Sarge, we are very glad that you are feeling better! We didn't read the rest of the post about the stuffy cause we were too busy admiring that beautiful bandana necklace that you are sporting on the pictures! You look amazing in it!

  10. Looks pretty much like all the toys in our toy boxes - they are ALL veterans of doggie tugs of war and missing limbs now.

  11. Ah Sarge we are so glad your peeper is healing. If your mom should tire of her day job I'm 100% positive she could be a stuffy surgeon.
Hugs to you and a far off kissy to the crabby girls.

  14. Oh, poor Teddy! I thinks your Moms did a great job. She could put a peg-leg and an eye patch, and he could be Teddy the Pirate! (Oh, maybe with your recent luck with stickies, the peg-leg might not be the bestest idea....)
So glad your eye is doin' betters. You can't even tell you hurt it in the pic!

    Kisses,
    Ruby
