Other Events


Hey Everyone!
Wow, we all seem so busy having fun with the
that I was afraid we'd all forget about the other pawesome things going on in our world too!  Here's a list of the other events that deserve some attention from all of us.



Dusty is celebrating his first barkday with a contest.  See his blog and click the Dusty's Celebration Competition tab under the header to see the entries and to cast your vote.  Deadline for voting is 7-25-12.  The prize is a graphite or pastel portrait of the winning picture.

Luna and Cynder are hosting a book giveaway.  See their 7-3-12 post for details and to enter the contest.  Prize is the book "Things Your Dog Doesn't Want You to Know". 

Bunk is offering a Say Goodbye to Fleas & Ticks giveaway.  See his 7-6-12 post for details.  Post a picture and caption about flea/tick prevention to enter.  Deadline is midnight CST 7-15-12 and is open to the contiguous 48 United States.  Prize is a $50 gift card.

Garth Riley is hosting a Silly Photo Contest.  See his blog for details.  Photos accepted until 7-6-12 at midnight EST.  Winners announced on 7-14-12 and multiple hand-crafted prizes will be awarded in several categories.

Gopher is hosting a Treat Outline Challenge.  See his 5-30-12 post for details.  Outline your body with treats and send him your picture by 6-30-12 to enter.  Voting will be in July for prize trading card and toy.

Blogville is supporting a card shower for Fiesty Three's grandmother who is fighting the evil C monster.  Cards can be sent to:  Margie Elam, 906 B Shelbyview Drive, Shelbyville TN USA 37106


As to my Swimming event for the big Blogville and Cat-o-lympics, as of 9pm last night I had 32 entries!   They are:
Barnie,  Snowball,  Madi,  Frank the Tank,  Wilson, Jimmy, Molly the Wally, Coco Bean, Miss Mindy, Rubie, Sweet William the Scot, Sally Ann, Andy, Zoey, Cricket, Bertie, Dexter, Ryker, Garth, Casey, Roo, Goose, Finn, Rama, Tucker, Deccy, Mango, Shawnee, Luke, Corbin, and two extreme exotics.
** Hey, update this now with two more...Jazzi and Bella have both entered now! **

    Thanks for sharing, Blogville has lots of cool stuff going on. But the Olympics are definitely the COOLEST! I can't wait to see all the events!
