Sorrow In Blogville

Hello Everyone.
My heart is heavy today, my furiends.  I'm sure many of you have already heard about the loss the other day of our sweet Kendra from Scotsmad.  Now, our loss is amplified by the news of the terrible tragedy for the Houston Pittie Pack members Guero, Coco Chanel, Tiger, Lucky and Shelby.  If you haven't stopped by with words of support, you can click on their links above.  I have updated our Blogville Community Calandar with the following related announcement from Pip and Mayzie and Princess Coco:

Pip is organizing an Occupy Your Couch protest event. Send your couch potato pix to him at mrpippipATgmailDOTcom and watch for the posts on 12-3, 12-10, 12-14 and 12-17-11.
In support of the Houston Pittie Pack who has suffered a terrible loss, Pip is holding a Comment-A-Thon on 12-17-11 the last day of this event.  Proceeds to benefit our furiends and honor the memory of Guero, Coco Chanel, Tiger, Lucky and Shelby.

Also: Mayzie is announcing a Chip In to help the Houston Pittie Pack family.  Here is the addy for this event.  pittiepackfirerecoveryfundDOTchipinDOTcom/sandrasDASHfireDASHrecovery.
Also:  Princess Coco is announcing a Comment-A-Thon for the Houston Pittie Pack starting at midnight tonight.  Click on her name to activate the link to her blog.

Please stop by to pawticipate.  Thanks Pip, Mayzie and Princess Coco for being such inspirational furiends.
How strange that I received the Christmas card from Scotsmad the day Kendra left us and in today's mail for me was the card from the Houston Pittie Pack.  Like a last touch for good furiends before their journey.

My heart goes out to all of us who are sorrowful.  Sending mournful howls to the void.
WAROOOOOOOOLWLOOOOOOWLLLLLLL.

Grr and a Sad Woof,
Sarge, Furiend
and his Peeps Lori & Stan

  1. Sarge, this is probably one of the saddest and most devastating things that has ever happened in Blogville. We are utterly heartbroken.

A Chip In has been set up for Sandra and her family. Would you mind putting the page link on the BCC and letting people know there's a link there where they can create a badge for their own bloggie? http://pittiepackfirerecoveryfund.chipin.com/sandras-fire-recovery

    Thank you!

  10. After hearing of this news, I feel so bad posting Half Full Friday. It just doesn't seem appropriate. I will be sure to comment to help raise any funds I can for the Houston Pitty Pack. Thanks for helping get the word out on these comment-a-thons.
