Blogville Community Calendar

Hey Everyone!
Wow, I think this is working okay so far!  The other day I started a new blog just to help us keep track of all the pawesome happenings here in Blogville.  Introducing Blogville Community Calendar. You can click on it to check it out.   Please let me know what you think AND also let me know if there are events that I am missing.

Speaking of events:
After the big Duck Tape Festival  (don't miss out on this fantastic event!), I'll be gearing up for my own next big event:  GIVE US THE BIRD!


This kind of bird!
The rules are amazingly simple. Just post a bird pix on your own blog during the event week.
  Nov 21 through Nov 25.    Any bird pix will do.
v Real, live birds from your territory, house, yard, park, trails, neighborhood, feeder, garden.
v Foodables, turkey drumsticks, chicken nuggets, hot wings, chicken kibbles, duck tenders.
v Paintings or sculptures of birds, any bird crafts, any artsy birds.
v Bird toys from your stash, stuffie ducks, unstuffy birds, squeaky bird shaped toys.
v Pix of birds from the internet, cartoons, television, movies, books.
You can post just one pix on one day, or multiple pix on multiple days during the event. Your choice. Then leave me a comment so I know you pawticipated. On Sunday, Nov 27th I’ll take each name from the comments and a winner will be drawn at random. The winner has their choice of prizes. Either a collar from Clara’s Collars or a $20 pack of foodables selected especially for the winner.

    THIS is a grrrreat Idea...

    BUTT if somebuddy wants to ADD an event.. they SHOULD Give YOU their URL in the comment.. so YOU don't have to go lookin it up... and ALSO give you all the rules Email addy,and other impawtant stuffs in the same comment.

    Hi Sarge, mum had an idea (but doesn't know if it would work or be too hard). Amazing she has ideas at her age! Is it possible to put a list of doggie's or other pet bloggers, birthdays or gotcha days in the side bar of the community calendar? No worries, and love, Stella and Rory
