Wow, Pip did the most pawesome video of himself getting all excited and ready for the big Luau.  I was having so much fun watching him and listening to him that my mom got a video of me watching his video!  Very cool don't you think?!?   Here it is...

PSA...Poor Frankie Mamaw and Papaw Pantslegs

Hey Everyone!
Wow, I feel really bad for Frankie and my Mamaw and Papaw Pantslegs!  They've had a really horrible rain storm right on top of a Spring full of really bad rains.  This one was so bad that his garage and ground floor was flooded with water!  It washed the driveway out really badly and left a few inches of water in P.P.'s den and bathroom.  Not good!  Coming back from ordering new carpet to replace the soggy carpet, Jennifer Jeep died!  She had to get all fixed up at the car doc and she's okay now.  Boy, that all stinks.  Frankie doesn't really like Jennifer that much, but he didn't want her to have the sickies or anything.  So, you may not hear anything from him for a few days while he supervises the cleaning, replacements, driveway repairs and etc in his territory.   Everyone is okay, but just a little busy and frustrated at the moment.

Maybe he and his peeps could use some positive vibes...Blogville style!  Stay tuned, because he'll be back in about 87 days...teeheehee.

I know he'd want me to show his pix so that no one forgets what he looks like!

Yeah, right...fat chance of that!

My Musical Monday

Hey Everyone!
Wow, this is really fun.  Remember last week when I was undercover in the Big House (thanks for the extra slang term Pip!)??  Well, while I was busy working for a living, my Peeps went to Gettysburg for a vacation.  They told me they had a blast...which I really don't get since I wasn't there to help them.  I mean, how fun could it have been without me??!!  Anyway, along with all of that peep historical stuff, there was a cool festival happening too.   That included bands...lots of bands and my peeps were thrilled!  They had their own peep picnic in the park with music.  Saturday was brass band day and Sunday was blues band day.  Musta been fun..somehow...without me.  ahem.   So, anyway, here are a few short clips of the music they got to hear.  Turn your volume up and enjoy:

Snicker Saturday...speak

Hey everyone!
Wow, here it is another weekend and time for our Snicker Saturday!  This time the first snicker is on my mom who obviously didn't realize that you can't hold the camera sideways for a video.  Shesh  So, the second snicker for the day (which is on me) is all sideways!  BOL  I think I need to have a chat with her about her filming abilities.

Anyway, the second and main snicker for the day is on me.  I can't really explain this, but I'll try.  I know how to speak.  It's one of my few... ahem...tricks.     :(       I really do know how, but for some reason I always have trouble with the volume part of the process.  If a critter strays into my territory, I'll let out a bark that will leave my peeps clinging to the ceiling!  No holds barred...80 decibles ... eardrum piercing...hound dog barks.  But all of my inside-for-a-treat barks get all hung up somehow.  I'm rambling I guess, so without further ado...here's your snicker!   Fair warning:  This is pretty pathetic from your COP!

I'll probably never live this down.

Fact Finding Friday

Hey everyone!
Wow, I've had an interesting week!  Right after the picnic festivities were over...I went UNDERCOVER!  Yes, that's right.  Your Blogville Chief of Police was undercover at the local doggy prison.  I was studying the criminal element.  I am pleased to report that there were no Blogville citizens locked up in the jail.   That's no surprise since we are all positive members of the community. 

Anyway, there's not much else to tell.  My peeps went away to Gettysburg for a few days in order to let me work.  None of the jailbirds, jaildogs, jailcats, etc had much to say to me, except that they all seemed really sorry for whatever they had done to deserve their sentences.  They also seemed totally pawsitive that their peeps were coming back any minute.  I didn't want to spoil the surprise for them, but I overheard the warden saying that everyone here was just in temporarily!  Cool for them...they really will all be going back to their peeps soon.  So, the only thing I really learned was a magnificent list of slang terms for the prison!   Here it goes:  In no particular order:

Snicker Saturday...Whistlers My Mother

Hey Everyone!
Wow, it's time already for another Snicker Saturday.  Well, back in my Peeps on Parade post, I mentioned that my mom has a weird musical talent.   Yes, it's extremely strange.  She can whistle an olive.  I say again that I have no idea how or why she discovered this ability and I certainly take no responsibility for it.  Several of you commented on the uniqueness of this...and some asked to see it.  So, your wish is my command.  She wanted me to clarify that this is a large, black olive, but an extra large would have had better sounds quality...go figure...the weirdness worsens.   Anyway, without further ado...here it is:

Listen closely...it's a "piano" olive for those who really know music (soft/quiet).

You notice that I took one look, then prompty left.  I didn't need to see this.

And she says I'm sometimes embarrassing...right.

First Half Full Friday

Hey Everyone!
Wow, I'm excited because this is my first ever Half Full Friday!!  Okay, if you've never seen our furiend Sprinkles and her Half Full Friday posts, go go go check out her blog right away at this LINK.   So, the whole idea is that we should all strive to see our glasses as half full rather than half empty.  This is such a cool way to see the world and I have always loved her posts.  She has said that anyone who would like to join her in this positive outlook can get into the spirit by doing their own version of a Half Full Friday.  I can't resist....here it is...my list of things from this week that leave me with a half full glass:
1.  I entered Sprinkles' Doggy Swap and I already got the coolest pressie pack from Finn.  She should have hers any day now.  The Swap was a blast!!
2.  I have 10 dogs already entered in my Bobbing for Tube Steaks at the Picnic in the Bark.
3.  I have gotten myself inlcuded in almost all of the events for the Picnic already.
4.  I killed a chipmunk on Tuesday!  It was a total munk mash and bash, Sarge style.
5.  So far this week I haven't had my butt spanked, been yelled at, gone to the vet, or had a scrubbin'.
 
Personally, number 5 is enough to make my glass half full.  The others are just icing on the cake.

There you go Sprinkles and everyone else in Blogville!  I hope you agree that this is a good week in the life of Sarge.  How about joining us in celebrating the silver lining in your week.
