Wow, I'm really excited to announce my first ever Blogville Holiday Event!
Okay, so I'm still rookie enough that I can't figure out how to make a badge! BOL Anyway, this is the logo I made for my Holiday Event. It works, barely. I just hope it's cool enough to get you interested.
So, here's how the event will work.
1. Design a post about your peeps. You know, your people! Those great humans we live with.
2. Tell at least one of the following things about them: What your peeps do/did for a living; Your peeps' special hobby/talent; Your favorite thing to do with your peeps; Something serious and special about your peeps; Something funny and special about your peeps.
3. Attach at least one picture of you with your peeps.
4. Post your creation on Memorial Day Weekend from Friday, May 27th through Monday, May 30th.
5. Comment on my blog so I will know your post is up.
That's it! It's that easy.
After Peeps On Parade is over, I'll put the names of everyone who participates into a hat and draw one lucky Blogville Citizen's name for a super special prize! The winner gets his/her choice. Either a collar or leash from Clara's Collars, or a tasty treat pack of equal value. Check out the link to see the totally pawesome designs that Clara has to offer the big winner!
Sound like fun?!? I sure hope so. I'm just super excited to learn about everyone's peep pack. Please feel free to grab this picture of my logo (if that will work!) and spread the word if you agree it will be fun. I can't wait to see how this goes! Well, what do all of you think?? I hope this helps everyone have a super great Memorial Day Weekend!

Thanks for stopping by http://www.allthingsdogblog.com. I was glad to learn about your blog. Tanner is quite impressed that you want to be a police dog. He'd rather kiss burglars than attack them. Same for Oliver! Good luck with the academy!
ReplyDeleteI love a parade !!!!!! This sounds grrreat Sarge!!
ReplyDeleteOh, Sarge this is very creative. I will definitely be writing about my Mom-she usually writes on our blog, but seeing as how it is named after me, I think she'll let me post. :)
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to learning about everyone's peoples:
Glacier
Great idea. I love a parade. I'll be sure to tell Kelly about it so that she can write a post.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a lot of fun! Well, except for the picture of me with my chi's part. I HATE having my picture taken because I'm not in the least bit photogenic and I always end up looking like I'm mid-sneeze or something. Seriously!
ReplyDeleteI'll have to think about it though.
Cool logo!
How furry fun, Sarge! Maybe we can dreess them up in silly outfits and make them pose endlessly for tiny morsels of food and talk about really embarressing things that happen to them when they go to the dogtor!! What fun!! Wonder if Mom has to get a butticure...we'll have to find out...
ReplyDelete-Gizmo, Bart and Ruby
What a great idea Sarge!

It's called the Victoria Day weekend in Canada, so maybe we can use that as an excuse to join in on your fun...okie dokie!
ReplyDeleteHello Sarge! Nice to meet you, and will try and join in with your fun, we have the same problem as George that we can't get a photo of our human - we'll try as we have plenty to say! Dex and Lou x
ReplyDeleteGreat idea, Sarge. We might have to do some serious twisting of the momster's arms to get her to post a pic - she is not into that at all even though she tortures us with the flashy beast.
ReplyDeleteWoos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
Dis sounds like fun....
ReplyDeleteGreat idea, Sarge! I love your badge!
ReplyDeleteYour pal, Pip

Hugz&Khysses,
Khyra
Sarge - This is so cool! We will start working now and MAYBE we will have it done in time. You know how slooooow we are at getting things done :) And we might have to do what Khyra said - Mom is almost as afraid of cameras as she is of SNAKES! But she did give us a suggestion of someone's face we could put in there instead. Stay tuned!
ReplyDeleteThe Road Dogs
Oh Sarge! What a great event!! We sure do love our peeps! We can't wait to pawticipate!!

Hi Sarge, That sounds like a GOOD FUN idea - I will get a chance to dish some dirt on my Peeps!! My pawrents are a bit "funny" about puttin' their real life faces on my blog..... so we will have to be creative!! I think we are IN!! Tail Wuggles, Rubie.
ReplyDeleteHi Sarge,
ReplyDeleteWe were visiting Ronnii's blog, saw your great idea, and decided to pop over and say Hi.
Leo had a blog a while ago, but Mom got busy working with some special kids and it kinda dried up. She's going to see what she can do so we can join the fun.
If not, we'll look forward to reading about everyone's hoomans on their bloggys.
Have a great day and Hi from Michigan.
Leonardo, Grady and The Mom.
I sorry, I missed the game, but it sounds fun. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Memorial Day!! :)
