Wow, a huge happy Saturday to all of Blogville! Here's a chuckle complements of my dad. This is one thing about Dad that always makes Mom giggle and teehee. For some reason, he insists on wearing clothes until they absolutely disintegrate! Do your Dad's do this??? I really would like to know because it sure puzzles me and Mom. Underclothes are especially likely to be kept until they don't look much like clothing...rags maybe, but clothing no. I can tell you I'd never wear a bandana or collar that looks like these. Here's you chuckle...Mom found this (used to be) teeshirt in the laundry:
Here's the funniest part...it was in the freshly washed, ready to wear again, laundry that he just washed!
Seriously, he washed this so he can wear it again! BWAR HAR HAR BOL BOL
Mom always sneaks and throws these out, 'cause if she asks him, he says he'll "still wear that around the house or to do yard work". WHAT?!?!?!? Gotta be a peep joke!
So, do your Dad peeps do this too?
Grr and Woof,
Sarge, COP
BaaaaWaaaah Your Dad and MY dad are just alike about this. My dad says they are just Perfect for SUMMER. Cooler and stuffs. Mom makes them into RAGS and DAD just looks at her all STUNNED. BAAAAAWWWWWWWAAAAAHHHHH
ReplyDeleteNo, my Dad is more of a thrower outer than Mom is unless he really, really loves a thing. Whatever he throws out, he just gets new ones that are exactly the same.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah....and we gets a double whammy at our house!
ReplyDeleteYep!! Our dad, too, "it's a work shirt. Don't throw it out..." Whatevs... At least he doesn't walk us looking like that!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Weekend!
Hey, our dad does that too! Mom has to throw stuff out when he is not looking, or he has a hissy fit..."That is still good!"

Glad I found you - you have me cracking up this morning! Found you through Levi Mac's blog.
ReplyDeleteYes, Matt does this - there are at least 5 or 6 T-shirts cluttering the closet that are shreds - just clinging shreds - of former T-shirts. It's so very sad. I, too, sneak them out into the trash when I finally have enough of seeing them. But it can't be an all at once toss. One or 2 every so often, otherwise I'm caught!
Check us out if you get a chance: http://arwenspack.blogspot.com/
Thanks and Happy Saturday!!
We think it has to be a Dad thing - ours likes to keep his old clothes forever. Mom does the sneaky throw-it-away thing too, and you know, he never even misses it:)
ReplyDeleteHappy Saturday.

Well, hoomie Melissa has a few tees with peepholes in them & she still wears them even when she brings us out for a walk. She said she does not give a hoot!
ReplyDeleteActually, my humans do the same thing. Mainly because they hate shopping so much.
ReplyDeleteSlobbers,
mango
Yep! Our Dad totally does this. He evens wears shirts and jeans that have paint or grease stains on them when he goes OUT someplace, like the store - and not only to places like Lowe's, where it's okay. It drives Mom a little crazy. Fortunately, we live in SC where everyone does this stuff and no one notices :)

My Dad is jus da opposite. He always wants new underwear. Drives Mum crazy sometimes.
