So I was laying around my house the other day minding my own doggie business, when all of a sudden Mom starts grouching about the condition of her floor. I swear this isn't my fault. I heard her say to Dad, "I don't get why he isn't bald by now!". I gotta tell you I found this very funny. Here's what had her all in a tizzy...
Yup, that's my beloved Cow and my beloved butt fur.
Yup, that's my beloved Cow again, and my beloved butt fur, and my beloved butt. All in one pix. As you can plainly see, I have another little tuft all ready to add to the collection on the floor.
I swear I can't help this. I don't know...it just falls out...usuallly from by butt and always in clumps and always on the floor. Well, not always. Sometimes it's on the couch and on their clothes. I don't get what all the excitement is about...it's my butt after all. I'd sweep it up, but alas, no thumbs!
BOL HAR BWAR HA(i)R!
Grr and a Hairy Woof,
Sarge
What's the problem? I think you should make sure it is on their clothing whenever they abandon you so that they will have a reminder of your lonely self and hurry back home.

Well, I don't see how you can help that. We do a lot of that and at certain times of the year Mom swears she could make another Shar Pei almost every day from what we drop around the house. It's pretty impressive how fast we can fill up the vacuum cleaner, really. Anway, fur happens. Moms just have to roll with it.
ReplyDeletelotsa licks, Lola
Ha ha ha, I think we've all heard those words before! Hu-mom complains more about kitty fur than doggie fur since PUggles and Pugs don's shed as much as longer haired kitties.
ReplyDeleteNice cow!
Drools and licks,

Let's just hope your butt doesn't go bald!! BOL!! AROOOO!!!

The Fiesty Three
Consider it... Sharing Time!!! You want them to have a bit of YOU even when you are outside on patrol. Can't let THEM get lonely FUR you.
ReplyDeleteHumans always get so concerned about da condition of their floors, don't they?? I don't get it either, Sarge.
ReplyDeleteMinnaK
Sweeping is humans work. Playing and messing up the floor is our work - it's a dirty job, but someone has to do it!
ReplyDeleteYour pal, Pip
Maybe it's your Paws hair and she's blaming you
ReplyDeleteBenny & Lily
Wonder what your Mom would say and do if the three of us came to visit - we leave enough furs around for a new puppy:)
ReplyDeleteWoos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
I dunno why humans are so worried abouts stuff like that. I think that it's a nice thing to do. Specially when it gets on their clothes. Cuz that way they can take a little bit of us wherever we go!
ReplyDeleteWiggles & Wags,

BOL! Mom says this is why she loves Blueberry's bald butt! The nerve! Humans are so weird!
ReplyDeleteBunny
lol...we know all about that butt fur here. Chunks. Whispy balls in corners. Our old dog was a shepherd/shiba inu mix - I felt so badly that I'd been blaming my young son for cutting off (huge) chunks of her fur, I'd find them everywhere, and with straight edges on one end. Finally realized that was really her massive chunk-shedding. She couldn't help it either, Sarge!
ReplyDeleteWe think that's VERY FUNNY!!! (Especially the Butt hair on clothes!)
ReplyDeleteWe're a breed that doesn't really shed hair, but sometimes I'd like to leave a little butt hair on her favourtie chair!
The same thing is happening to me!! Right near my tail and mom is ALWAYS plucking them out. It's so annoying. I don't have a cow to comfort me. :(

I had a long hair kitty awhile back who used to literally pull his hair out in chunks. I'm not sure why he did it. He died a few years ago and I'm still cleaning up after him.
ReplyDeleteJed is a chunk shedder, too. Quite a shock to mama's system during his first Fall shedding; she'd lived with Great Danes all her life and they shed tiny little pieces of fur like you do, Sarge. So your mom should count her blessings. She'd be ankle-deep in shedded furs every day if Jed lived there. [He's a Tolling Retriever mixed with something bigger. Lab?] Abby is a discrete shedder like you are.
